- Sites & Cités Remarquables de France is a network bringing together over 300 member territories—comprising 2200 municipalities and 14 million inhabitants—that hold the label "City and Land of Art and History" or are designated as a Remarkable Heritage Site. They share their inquiries and experiences regarding heritage preservation and enhancement policies. Since its establishment in 2000, the Association has been dedicated to promoting a broad and inclusive vision of heritage-related issues and undertaking comprehensive action encompassing political, technical, urbanistic, economic, social, and cultural aspects.
